The importance of building your own future

my future

It's been a little over a year since I decided to start a business adventure registering me as a self-employed person in Spain to try to find me and build my own future. I will not tell anyone that it has been a bed of roses or that it has been easy, I would almost say that it has been the opposite, but if it has served me something it is to be able to work for myself, without being accountable to anyone, and being responsible control of your activities at all times.

Working for someone else as a self-employed person is certainly risky because every month, whether you bill a lot or a little, you have to face many expenses that sometimes end up drowning you irretrievably. Also, just as it happened to me, A vacation where you don't already generate any income can end up being your worst nightmare. Luckily since this "freelance adventure", as I call it, began, I have had the help of the AXA “Build your own story” tool.

Freelancers in Spain are exposed to almost all the risks that anyone can have, but also those that any worker has on a daily basis. For all this, it is absolutely essential to take all the necessary precautions, despite the fact that these sometimes cost us large amounts of money, which must be added to those that we must pay to the State each month.

Thanks to this AXA tool I have been able to cover myself from possible mishaps and difficult situations, which even though I hoped would never happen, ended up happening. And it is that on vacation a bad jump in the pool ended up taking me to the hospital where I was diagnosed with a total break of several bones in my arm. We could say that the worst evil for a content writer is not being able to use their arms and hands to write.

My incapacity for work ended with almost 2 months without being able to do any type of work and with an income that was not enough to meet any of my obligations. Luckily the insurance that he had contracted with this renowned company, thanks to the tool "Build your own story", It helped me not to enter a financial cave from which I could hardly have left.

My work disability insurance with an insured capital of 60 euros per day cost me almost 40 euros per month, which when you do not suffer any problem seems a real outrage, but that the day you suffer a mishap seems ridiculous.

Being self-employed in Spain today is an adventure for brave and daring people, but in addition, a self-employed person must be proactive and cautious with everything or almost everything that surrounds them. My recommendation is that before embarking on any adventure you make sure that nothing is going to go wrong and cover your back as much as you can, in case something still goes wrong. Luckily I had everything more or less well covered and it did not mean the end of my days as a freelancer, but perfectly if I had not done so we would be talking about something very different today.
