Comenzó el Foro Económico Mundial

Desde el miércoles comenzó en Davos, Suiza, el Foro Económico Mundial, en el que participarán más de 40 jefes de Estado y en el que se discutirán los principales temas de la economía mundial.
El Foro Ecuménico Mundial se creó en 1971 con la presencia de empresarios europeos para debatir sobre las tendencias en los negocios. Sin embargo, con la incursión en temas de política y sociedad, el Foro ha congregado a empresarios, a la más alta esfera de la economía mundial, jefes de Estado, celebridades del espectáculo y representantes de organizaciones civiles.
Como era de esperar, el eje central de Davos será la crisis financiera internacional y el rediseño del mundo post crisis, tema importante para más de los 2.500 participantes, provenientes de 90 países. Sin embargo, pese a la excelente presencia internacional en el Foro, lo importante aquí es que el conglomerado financiero tome decisiones de importancia para frenar el avance de la economía financiera, que deja graves crisis en los principales países del mundo.
Por último, la ausencia del electo presidente de los Estados Unidos Barack Obama ya es un hecho, y agregó que el Foro deberá servir para poder expandir las cuestiones más importantes.
La última palabra que nos quedó por remarcar es que de estas reuniones algo positivo debe de haber, pues quienes hoy están presentes en Davos son empresarios y políticos, aunque –vaya paradoja- son los mismos que provocaron la actual crisis financiera
